The Southerly Owners’ Association was formed in 1982 with the aim of promoting cruises, rallies and social events, and to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and information on all aspects of owning, sailing and maintaining Southerly yachts.
It is a thriving and very well supported body, which has succeeded in building many friendships, helping most members to increase the enjoyment and satisfaction of owning a Southerly.
The Association is managed by a committee of about eight and has always been independent of the boat builders. We are always looking for new and enthusiastic talent to join our committee.
A magazine is provided twice a year and includes details of forthcoming events, booking forms, technical information and topical articles. In a typical year, events would include at least six rallies, the Laying Up Supper, and the Annual General Meeting with an associated social event.
We hope you would like to join the SOA and look forward to hearing from you using the link below.
